Open your dossier

Five steps. Four minutes. Then the platform is yours.

The dossier is the record every other screen reads from. Once it exists, the atlas filters to what you can actually build, the capital pages mark what you are eligible for, and the journey shows the phase you are in.

You do not have to be out of work to be here, and you do not have to leave your job to begin. Most people who open a dossier are employed, are good at something specific, and want that skill to belong to them rather than to an employer.

Nothing you enter is assessed, scored against you, or shared. It is used for exactly one purpose: to stop the platform showing you things you cannot use, so that what remains is short enough to act on.

Where you are now

Nothing here commits you to anything. It exists so the platform can stop showing you things you cannot use.

Which of these is closest to true today?

Your position at the moment

Most people who use this platform are employed when they start. Keeping your income while you build is a supported route, not a compromise.

The sector you work in now

This matters more than people expect. The skill you are paid for today is usually the shortest bridge to the business you own tomorrow.

Which founder position fits you best? Optional

The difference

What changes once it exists

The dossier is not a profile page. It is an input to every engine on the platform.

The atlas narrows

Ventures you could not fund, staff or permit from your position stop appearing. What remains is a list you can act on this month.

Capital becomes specific

Instruments are marked open, closed or conditional against your own position, with the reason and the next date attached.

The journey becomes yours

The eight phases stop being a diagram and become a sequence with your name on it, showing what is done and what is next.

Deadlines find you

A call that fits your dossier reaches you when it opens rather than after it closes.

Others appear

Founders in your region working in the same family, and the collectives already operating near you.

Progress is visible

Each phase completed is recorded, so the second year has a record of the first to work from.

From employed to owner

The route most people take

Four stages, none of which require you to resign first.

Months 0–3

Keep the salary

The venture is built in evenings and weekends while the income continues. Registration, a first customer and the funding application all happen in this window.

Risk to household income: none

Months 3–9

Prove the demand

First revenue arrives alongside the salary. The question stops being whether people want it and becomes how much they will pay and how often.

Typical first revenue: month 4–7

Months 9–18

Shift the balance

Hours move across as the venture earns. Many founders reduce to part-time employment here rather than leaving outright.

Where most instruments land

Month 18 on

The business carries you

The venture covers the household and begins repaying its capital. Employment becomes optional rather than necessary.

Your data

Held lightly, and only by us

The dossier lives on this platform and nowhere else. It is not sold, not shared with lenders or administering bodies, and not used to assess you. You can export it or delete it entirely from the account tab, and deletion removes the record rather than hiding it.

Applications you track are your own notes about your own applications. Filing an application through an administering body still happens with that body, on their forms, under their rules.

Before you start

Questions people ask before signing up

No, and most people should not. Roughly two thirds of the ventures in the atlas can be started at under 0.6 full-time equivalent, which means they run alongside employment until they earn enough to replace it.

No. The platform is free to use, and it does not take a commission on funding you obtain. Nothing on it is a paid placement.

No. Around half the ventures in the atlas are built in towns and cities, and several of the strongest instruments are urban. Territory changes which ventures are strongest, not whether you can build one.

That is the ordinary case, and it is what the atlas and the venture finder are for. The dossier narrows nearly two hundred ventures to a handful worth considering seriously.

Never. Applications are made by you, to the administering body, on their own forms. The platform tells you what to apply for and in what order.

Say so in the first step. The platform then works on growth, second revenue lines and restructuring rather than formation.
